BCBA/QBA/IBA
Pragya Shrestha Pradhan is Nepal’s first Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and chairperson at Avaani Foundation. She began her journey in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) at Behavior Momentum India (BMI) and eventually earned a certification from the USA-based Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). As both a parent of a child with autism and a professional in the field of behavior analysis, she advocates for evidence-based, compassionate, and culturally responsive care services for children with developmental differences in Nepal.
She holds a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), USA (2022), a Qualified Behavior Analyst (QBA) from the Qualified Applied Behavior Analysis Credentialing Board (QABA), USA (2023), and an International Behavior Analyst (IBA) from the International Behavior Analysis Organization (IBAO), USA (2023). She has completed her Master’s degree in Computer Application from Purbanchal University.
Pragya Shrestha Pradhan is the Founder Chairperson and Executive Chairperson & BCBA of Avaani Foundation, a non-profit organization working in autism. She has also participated in specialized training including “Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons and DI Session on Reading Mastery” to train trainers to teach children with autism in a 1:1 setting under supervision. Her unique perspective as both a mother of three children (including a child with autism) and a certified behavior analyst drives her mission to deliver compassionate, culturally responsive, evidence-based care for children with developmental differences in Nepal.
